Change Your Lens and See Differently

To change your perspective means to change your point of view, your attitude, or your frame of reference.

Beliefs and stories are just your perspectives—points of view you have adopted. At times these views can be shortsighted and can cause you to have “tunnel vision”, where you believe ideas and narratives that simply are not true.

It is possible to expand your vision and change your perspective—and doing so will allow you to see things differently.

It is only a matter of understanding how beliefs work and how they can be disrupted and dismantled.

For beliefs and stories live in your unconscious mind and are responsible for 80-90 percent of the decisions you make—decisions which have been formed by various sources and which make up how you interpret the world around you.

Additionally, the unconscious mind speaks and communicates to you in images, symbols, dreams, emotions, and feelings.

To change a core belief, you must first learn to speak and communicate in the same language as the unconscious mind. For only when you are able to change the pictures in your mind will you be able to change your perspective and see differently.

Fortunately, Art is the language of the unconscious mind and a language we all instinctively know how to speak.

Many people consider Art, and artwork, as having no practical benefit for how we live today. However, it is this ability to create images and pictures that offers a clear and straightforward route to the unconscious mind.
